1.
Fill out the Franchise Information Request
and Application Form.
2. We
will set up an initial call for
you to speak with a member of our executive franchise development
team who will explain to you in detail our vision and everything
you will need to know about the ShapeXpress franchise opportunity
so that you can move to the next step of evaluating if our business
is the right business for you. We will also want to learn more about
you and you can ask any questions you may have about the ShapeXpress
Franchise Opportunity.
3. After
the initial call, we will send you additional information for your
review including our Uniform Franchise
Offering Circular, or UFOC. This document contains
important disclosures and financial information that will be invaluable
to you in making the decision to move forward in the process of becoming
a ShapeXpress Franchisee.
4. Once
your application is approved, we will schedule a Discovery
Day at our corporate headquarters.
You will meet each member of our executive team and learn more about
how each support department of ShapeXpress will assist you in becoming
a successful ShapeXpress Franchisee. You will tour our corporate
offices as well as our National Training Center. Part of your day
will be spent visiting some of our local franchises and meeting with
the franchisees or Club Managers so you can get first hand knowledge
of our clubs.
5. After
Discovery Day comes the Agreement process and
payment of the franchise fee. After the Agreement is completed our
Marketing Support and Operations Support Executives will begin working
with you to launch the sales and marketing plan as well as aid you
in finding your Club location, negotiating the lease, and assisting
you with getting your Club up and running as quickly as possible.
Why does ShapeXpress charge an application
fee? Demand
for our franchises is high and we need to carefully evaluate your
skills, interests and financial position before moving forward
in the process of becoming a ShapeXpress franchisee. We want to
make sure that a ShapeXpress franchise is the right fit for both
of us. This fee confirms to us your level of interest in our franchise
and covers the administrative costs of reviewing your application
as well as the costs of pulling various personal financial history
information and credit reports.
Does
ShapeXpress provide any type of financing? ShapeXpress
will assist you in obtaining your financing by providing detailed
business plan information as well as introducing you to several
different financing options such as:
Commercial
lending institutions
SBA: ShapeXpress is on the SBA Registry and can assist you in streamlining
the SBA loan process.
Leasing: Up to 50% of
your initial investment can be leased and
ShapeXpress can introduce you to leasing
companies familiar with our industry and
our equipment.
Retirement Account/401k Funds: ShapeXpress
can assist you with using these types of
funds to finance your business without
incurring any early withdrawal penalties.
Bank
Loan Contacts: ShapeXpress can refer you to lending
institutions to help you with the financing of your ShapeXpress
club(s).
